Saturday, December 3rd
With good food, yummy desserts,
Chinese gift exchange and the 25 club members that attended, it
was all perfect for the making of a fun evening. Rumor has it
that this was a “great party”! Thank you once again, Wanda and
Bob for your warm hospitality.

FCCC
Christmas Party
Saturday, December 17th
for those that spent the
night at the hotel. Many members that attended changed out of
their party clothes into pj’s or comfy clothes and made their
way to Laura and Butch’s room. A lot of laughter, music,
snacking, chatting and at 2am the party was over and back to our
own rooms for some much needed rest. Later on that morning we
met for breakfast and then said our goodbyes, unfortunately, all
good things must come to an end…

Marrow
2010 & 2011 FCCC Secretary
Darlena Conti
To my fellow club members I want
to take the opportunity to express my appreciation for allowing
me to be your secretary for the passed two years. After writing
24 newsletters, I can not say honestly that I have enjoyed every
minute; however, I can say that I have enjoyed spending time
with you at our many events and car shows. I want to thank my
husband, Jim Conti for his support and for critiquing the
newsletter every month; I could not have done it without him.
Butch Hume never missed an opportunity to pick up the phone and
say, well done. Troy Bennett was always there to answer any
questions I had and early in, I had a lot. And last but
certainly not least to my friend, Annette Shields for her steady
encouragement, it was noted and much appreciated. I want to also
thank those who took their time to write an article or articles
for the newsletter – John Ballard, Laura Wood, Dave Roskowski,
Dody Searcy, Annette Shields, Georgette Walter,
John Honadel, Michael Betz,
Wanda Dempley, Julia Zachary, and David & Clara Schlaug, it was
greatly appreciated.
I now plan on focusing my
attention on much needed work projects around my house such as
painting and landscaping. I look forward to seeing you in 2012
at the many FCCC functions.
I am passing the torch on to our
new secretary, Rebecca Marrow. If you have not had the pleasure
of meeting Rebecca, she and her husband James join the FCCC in
2009. They drive a C-4, 1994 white coupe Corvette.
